Any person who becomes a resident of this state and who is\n\nor has been, immediately preceding the person's residency in this\n\nstate, licensed to practice social work by another state which\n\ngrants a like privilege of reciprocity and who meets the educational\n\nand work experience qualifications for licensure in this state may,\n\nupon payment of the necessary fee and submission of documentation as\n\nrequired by the Board, be licensed under the provisions of the\n\nSocial Worker's Licensing Act.\n\nB. In cases where reciprocity does not exist the Oklahoma State\n\nBoard of Licensed Social Workers may endorse the actions of another\n\nstate licensing board upon receipt of information by that board\n\ndocumenting that the applicant has met the educational and\n\nsupervisory requirements of the Oklahoma State Board in another\n\nstate, and has passed the same examination or a more stringent\n\nexamination than that used by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed\n\nSocial Workers.\n\nC. 1. For a social worker currently licensed in another\n\njurisdiction to obtain a license as a social worker by reciprocity\n\nin this state, an applicant shall:\n\na. submit a written application in the form prescribed by\n\nthe Board,\n\nb. have attained the age of majority,\n\nc. have a social work degree at the designation for which\n\nthe applicant is seeking licensure,\n\nd. possess, at the time of initial licensure as a social\n\nworker, the qualifications necessary to have been\n\neligible for licensure in this state,\n\ne. present to the Board a passing score on the designated\n\nlicensure examination,\n\nf. present to the Board proof that the transferring\n\nsocial work license is current and in good standing,\n\ng. present to the Board proof that any social work or any\n\nother professional license or other credential granted\n\nto the applicant by any other state has not been\n\nsuspended, revoked, or otherwise restricted for any\n\nreason except nonrenewal or for the failure to obtain\n\nthe required continuing education credits in any\n\njurisdiction where the applicant is or has been\n\nlicensed, and\n\nh. pay the fees specified by the Board.\n\n2.
