The applicant for bail bondsman licensure shall be required\n\nto take an examination prepared by the Insurance Commissioner,\n\ntesting the applicant’s ability and qualifications to be a bail\n\nbondsman. Applications are valid for three (3) months after\n\nsubmission. If an applicant has not acted upon the application\n\nwithin that period, a new application and fees shall be submitted\n\nfor the applicant to be considered for licensure. Bail bondsman\n\nlicenses issued prior to the effective date of this act, as a result\n\nof a successful completion of a remote examination, shall be valid\n\nlicenses from the time of issuance.\n\nB. Each applicant shall become eligible for examination if the\n\napplicant has completed sixteen (16) hours of education as required\n\nby Section 1308.1 of this title prior to the examination.\n\nExaminations shall be held at times and places as designated by the\n\nCommissioner.\n\nC. The fee for the examination shall be One Hundred Dollars\n\n($100.00). Results will be provided after the applicant is\n\nexamined.\n\nD.
