Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1311.4","heading":"Assisting other licensed bondsmen","body":"Notwithstanding any provision of the Bail Enforcement and\n\nLicensing Act to the contrary, a licensed bondsman in this state,\n\nfor purposes of apprehension and surrender of his or her defendant\n\nclient whose undertaking or bail contract was written by the\n\nlicensed bondsman, may seek assistance from, or provide assistance\n\nto, another licensed bondsman in this state or another state;\n\nprovided, the assisting bondsman:\n\n1. Has held a continuously valid bail bondsman license in this\n\nstate for five (5) or more years immediately prior to providing such\n\nassistance; or\n\n2. Is duly appointed by the same insurer as the licensed\n\nbondsman seeking assistance.\n\nThe bondsman licensed in this state who is seeking assistance shall\n\nbe required to obtain and maintain proof of the valid license of the\n\nassisting bondsman and license duration requirement prior to\n\npermitting such assisting bondsman to engage in any act requiring a\n\nlicense in this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9fdcfb738c54214602f4a35f576f47459f48d9a4c6c78d9d3a49592201b11a88","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-1311.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-1312"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
