Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1324","heading":"Property bond","body":"Where the undertaking is a property bond, whether posted by a\n\nbail bondsman, the defendant personally, or by any other person,\n\nsaid bond shall give the legal description of the property, the\n\nassessed valuation, the amount of encumbrances, if any, and the\n\nstatus of the legal title, all by affidavit. Any property located\n\nwithin the state wherein the bail is allowed, that is subject to\n\nexecution shall be accepted for security on a property bond for the\n\nmarket value of the property. Market value is defined to be four\n\ntimes the assessed valuation of the property as recorded on the tax\n\nrolls, less any encumbrances thereon; provided, that homesteads may\n\nbe accepted as security for appearance if the homestead exemption is\n\nwaived in writing. Such waiver shall be verified and executed by\n\nthe spouse, if any. The property listed upon any property bond or\n\nbonds will be security on said bonds up to the aggregate amounts as\n\nfollows:\n\n(A) In the event of bonds written by a licensed property\n\nbondsman; four times the market value of said property.\n\n(B) All other property bonds; in the face amount of the market\n\nvalue of said property.\n\nThe court clerk, upon the approval of a property bond, shall\n\nforthwith file a certified copy of said bond in the office of the\n\ncounty clerk in which the property is located, transmitting to the\n\ncounty clerk the filing fee which will be paid by the person\n\nexecuting said bond. The county clerk shall index said bond upon\n\nhis tract index as a lien against said described property, and such\n\nbond shall be a lien upon the real estate described therein until a\n\ncertificate discharging said bond shall be filed in the office of\n\nthe county clerk. Said lien shall be superior to any conveyance,\n\nencumbrance or lien thereafter pertaining to said property. When\n\nsaid bond shall have been discharged, the clerk of said court shall\n\nissue to the surety a certificate of discharge describing the bond\n\nand the real property, which shall, upon filing with the county\n\nclerk and the payment of the filing fee, be recorded in the tract\n\nindex.
