Stat. tit. 59, § 59-140","heading":"Employees of Board - Prosecutions - Materials and supplies","body":"- Bonds - Seal.\n\nThe Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners may:\n\n1. Employ, contract with, and direct stenographic, clerical,\n\nand secretarial help and investigators and attorneys to assist it\n\nand its officers in observing and performing under the applicable\n\nlaws and to help carry out and enforce the applicable laws;\n\n2. Gather and present to district attorneys of this state\n\nevidence which it believes shows violations of the applicable laws,\n\nand, among other purposes authorized by law, it may use attorneys it\n\nemploys to assist district attorneys (but only with their consent)\n\nin the prosecution of such violations, and also to represent it in\n\nany court;\n\n3. Discharge any person it employs, but this provision shall\n\nnot be interpreted as authorizing it to fail in any way to observe\n\nand perform its lawful contracts;\n\n4. Contract for and purchase or rent books, stationery, forms,\n\npostage, equipment, other materials and supplies, and furniture and\n\nit may rent or lease office space or other quarters; however the\n\ncompensation of those it employs or with whom it contracts and the\n\nconsideration it owes under its contracts and its other costs,\n\nexpenses and liabilities of whatever nature shall never be a charge\n\nagainst the State of Oklahoma, except that the Board may cause\n\npayment for all thereof to be made from the Board of Podiatric\n\nMedical Examiners' Revolving Fund insofar as there are from time to\n\ntime amounts in said fund for such purposes;\n\n5. Require fidelity bonds of those it employs; and\n\n6.
