Any person to practice or attempt to practice podiatric\n\nmedicine in this state as defined by the applicable laws or as\n\notherwise defined, or to hold himself out to the public in this\n\nstate as a podiatric physician, doctor of podiatric medicine,\n\npodiatrist, foot doctor or foot specialist without having first\n\nobtained a license to practice podiatric medicine from the Board of\n\nPodiatric Medical Examiners, or after his license to practice\n\npodiatric medicine has been revoked, or while such license is under\n\nsuspension. Provided, however, an applicant for a license by\n\nexamination who has successfully passed the examination administered\n\nby the Board may practice podiatric medicine to the extent necessary\n\nto enable him to observe and assist a podiatric physician, as an\n\nintern, preceptee or resident, if while so doing he complies with\n\nall of the rules of the Board;\n\n2. A podiatric physician to practice as such at any time when\n\nhis license is not conspicuously displayed in his place of regular\n\npractice;\n\n3. Any person to knowingly represent in any manner in this\n\nstate, either publicly or privately, that another person is a\n\nlicensed podiatric physician, doctor of podiatric medicine,\n\npodiatrist, foot doctor or foot specialist, or is capable of\n\nexamining, diagnosing, recommending for, prescribing for, caring\n\nfor, or treating in this state ailments, diseased conditions,\n\ndeformities, or injuries of the human foot, unless such other person\n\nat the time of such representation is a licensed podiatric\n\nphysician; and\n\n4. Any podiatric physician to violate any provision of the\n\nPodiatric Medicine Practice Act or the rules of the Board.\n\nB. Any person who does any one or more of the things made\n\nunlawful by subsection A of this section shall be deemed guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not\n\nmore than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the\n\ncounty jail for not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine\n\nand imprisonment.
