Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1452","heading":"Purpose","body":"It is the purpose of this act to regulate all persons who\n\npurport to be able to detect deception or to verify truth of\n\nstatements through the use of instrumentation (as lie detectors,\n\npolygraphs, deceptographs, and/or similar or related devices and\n\ninstruments without regard to the nomenclature applied thereto) and\n\nthis act shall be liberally construed to regulate all such persons\n\nand instruments.
