Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1470","heading":"Administrative hearing","body":"When there is a cause to refuse an application or to suspend or\n\nrevoke the license of any polygraph examiner, the Council shall,\n\nnot less than thirty (30) days before refusal, suspension or\n\nrevocation action is taken, notify such person in writing, in person\n\nor by certified mail at the last address supplied to the Council by\n\nsuch person, of such impending refusal, suspension or revocation,\n\nthe reasons therefor and of his right to an administrative hearing\n\nfor the purpose of determining whether or not the evidence is\n\nsufficient to warrant the refusal, suspension or revocation action\n\nproposed to be taken by the Board. If, within twenty (20) days\n\nafter the personal service of such notice or such notice has been\n\ndeposited in the United States mail, such person has not made a\n\nwritten request to the Board for this administrative hearing, the\n\nBoard is authorized to suspend or revoke the polygraph examiner's\n\nlicense of such person without a hearing. Upon receipt by the\n\nCouncil of such written request of such person within the twenty-day\n\nperiod as set out above, an opportunity for an administrative\n\nhearing shall be afforded as early as is practicable. In no case\n\nshall the hearing be held less than ten (10) days after written\n\nnotification thereof, accompanied by a copy of the charges, shall\n\nhave been given the person by personal service or by certified mail\n\nsent to the last address supplied to the Council by the applicant or\n\nlicensee.
