In order to assure continuing professional competence of\n\nindividuals in accountancy, and as a condition for issuance of a\n\ncertificate or license and/or renewal of a permit to practice,\n\ncertificate and license holders shall furnish evidence of\n\nparticipation in continuing professional education.\n\nB. Continuing professional education compliance periods shall\n\nbe established by rule.\n\nC. All certificate and license holders shall complete at least\n\none hundred twenty (120) hours of continuing professional education\n\nwithin a three-year period with completion of not less than twenty\n\n(20) hours of continuing professional education in any year.\n\nD. The Oklahoma Accountancy Board shall adopt rules and\n\nregulations regarding such continuing professional education. Such\n\nrules shall include but not be limited to:\n\n1. Requiring reporting of continuing professional education to\n\ncoincide with the annual permit renewal date;\n\n2. Provisions for exempting retired, inactive and disabled\n\nindividuals as defined by the Board in the rules from the\n\nrequirement of continuing professional education; and\n\n3.
