To be eligible for a pawnshop license, an applicant shall:\n\n1. Have net assets of at least Twenty-five Thousand Dollars\n\n($25,000.00); and\n\n2. Show that the pawnshop will be operated lawfully and fairly\n\nwithin the purpose of the Oklahoma Pawnshop Act.\n\nB. The Administrator shall find ineligible an applicant who has\n\na conviction for a felony crime that substantially relates to the\n\noccupation of a pawnbroker or poses a reasonable threat to public\n\nsafety.\n\nC. If the Administrator is unable to verify that the applicant\n\nmeets the net assets requirement for a pawnshop license, the\n\nAdministrator may require a finding, including the presentation of a\n\ncurrent balance sheet, by an accounting firm or individual holding a\n\npermit to practice public accounting in this state, that the\n\naccountant has reviewed the books and records of the applicant and\n\nthat the applicant meets the net assets requirement.\n\nD.
