Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1621","heading":"Penalties","body":"Any person who represents himself or herself to be a speech-\n\nlanguage pathologist and/or audiologist or engages in the practice\n\nof speech-language pathology and/or audiology within this state\n\nwithout being licensed or exempted in accordance with the provisions\n\nof the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act shall\n\nbe deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof,\n\nshall be fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or be\n\nconfined to jail for not more than six (6) months, or both such fine\n\nor confinement.
