The Construction Industries Board is hereby authorized to\n\nadminister the Electrical License Act and exercise all incidental\n\npowers necessary and proper to implement and enforce the provisions\n\nof the Electrical License Act and the rules promulgated pursuant\n\nthereto.\n\nB. The Construction Industries Board is hereby authorized to\n\nadopt, amend and repeal rules governing the examination and\n\nlicensing of electrical contractors and journeymen electricians, the\n\ndefining of categories and limitations for such licenses, the\n\nestablishment of continuing education requirements and procedures as\n\ndetermined by the Committee of Electrical Examiners, the\n\nestablishment and levying of administrative fines, the initiation of\n\ndisciplinary proceedings, the requesting of prosecution of and\n\ninitiation of injunctive proceedings against any person who violates\n\nany of the provisions of the Electrical License Act or any rule\n\npromulgated pursuant to the Electrical License Act, the\n\nestablishment of bonding and insurance requirements precluding\n\nmunicipal requirements, the requirement of proof of possession of a\n\nFederal Tax ID Number and a State of Oklahoma Employment Security\n\nBoard identification number, the registration of electrical\n\napprentices, the establishment of a poultry house contractor\n\nlicense, and the standard of electrical installations.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d816e11463ba16e6dbd489088655c07d13632c346805570518b233c1225bd54a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-1680","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-1681.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
