Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1688v1","heading":"Term of license and apprentice or student intern","body":"registration certificates — Renewal — Late penalty.\n\nA. No license shall be issued for longer than one (1) year, and\n\nall licenses shall expire on the last day in the birth month of the\n\nlicensee. A license may be renewed upon application and payment of\n\nfees thirty (30) days preceding or following the date the license is\n\ndue. Licenses renewed more than thirty (30) days following the date\n\nof expiration may be renewed only upon application and payment of\n\nall required fees and payment of any penalty for late renewal\n\nestablished by the Board and upon compliance with any applicable\n\ncontinuing education requirements established by the Board and the\n\nElectrical License Act. No penalty for late renewal shall be\n\ncharged to any holder of a license which expires while the holder is\n\nin military service, if an application for renewal is made within\n\none (1) year following the service discharge of the holder.\n\nB.
