The basic personnel and necessary facilities that are\n\nrequired to administer the Licensed Dietitian Act shall be the\n\npersonnel and facilities of the Board. The Board personnel shall\n\nact as the agents of the Board. If necessary for the administration\n\nor implementation of the Licensed Dietitian Act, the Board by\n\nagreement may secure and provide for compensation for services that\n\nthe Board considers necessary and may employ and compensate within\n\navailable appropriations professional consultants, technical\n\nassistants, and employees on a full-time or part-time basis.\n\nB. The chairman of the Board shall designate an employee to\n\nserve as executive secretary of the Committee. The executive\n\nsecretary must be an employee of the Board. The executive secretary\n\nshall be the administrator of the dietitian licensing activities for\n\nthe Board.\n\nC. In addition to other duties prescribed by law and by the\n\nBoard, the executive secretary shall:\n\n1. keep full accurate minutes of the transactions and\n\nproceedings of the Committee;\n\n2. be the custodian of the files and records of the Committee;3. prepare and recommend to the Board plans and procedures necessary to implement the purposes and objectives of this act, including rules and\n\nproposals on administrative procedures consistent with this act;\n\n4. exercise general supervision over persons employed by the\n\nBoard in the administration of this act;\n\n5. be responsible for the investigation of complaints and for\n\nthe presentation of formal complaints;\n\n6. attend all meetings of the Committee as a nonvoting\n\nparticipant;\n\n7. handle the correspondence of the Committee and obtain,\n\nassemble, or prepare the reports and information that the Board may\n\ndirect or authorize.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e41b483f094cd74138fc4f32984414cfd51142839952d389970f0135a79abf2b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-1727","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-1729"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
