An applicant for a dietitian license shall submit a sworn\n\napplication, accompanied by the application fee.\n\nB. The Committee shall prescribe the form of the application\n\nand may by rule establish dates by which applications and fees shall\n\nbe received. These rules shall not be inconsistent with rules of\n\nthe Board related to application dates of other licenses.\n\nC. To qualify for the licensing examination the applicant\n\nshall:\n\n1. possess a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate degree with a\n\nmajor course of study in human nutrition, food and nutrition,\n\ndietetics, or food systems management or an equivalent major course\n\nof study approved by the Committee;\n\n2. have completed an internship or preplanned professional\n\nexperience program approved by the Committee; and\n\n3. submit to a national, fingerprint-based background check as\n\ndescribed in Section 1727 of this title.\n\nD. Not later than the 45th day after the receipt of a properly\n\nsubmitted and timely application and not later than the 30th day\n\nbefore the next examination date, the Board shall notify an\n\napplicant in writing that his or her application and any other\n\nrelevant evidence pertaining to applicant qualifications established\n\nby the Board by rule has been received and investigated. The notice\n\nshall state whether the application and other evidence submitted\n\nhave qualified the applicant for examination.
