Licenses shall be renewed annually by paying the required\n\nrenewal fee to the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision\n\non or before the renewal date specified by the Board. The Board\n\nshall promulgate rules setting forth fees for initial licensure and\n\nlicense renewal and may adopt a renewal system requiring all\n\nrenewals to occur in a specified month of the year regardless of the\n\ndate of initial licensure.\n\nB. If a person's license has been expired for not more than\n\nninety (90) days, the person may renew the license by paying to the\n\nBoard the required renewal fee and a penalty fee that is one-half\n\n(1/2) the renewal fee.\n\nC. If a license has been expired for more than ninety (90) days\n\nbut less than one (1) year, the person may renew the license by\n\npaying to the Board all unpaid renewal fees and a penalty fee that\n\nis equal to the renewal fee.\n\nD. If a license has been expired one (1) year or more, the\n\nlicense may not be renewed.
