On and after January 1, 1988, no person may be employed or\n\noperate as a security guard, private investigator, security agency,\n\nor investigative agency until a license therefor has been issued by\n\nthe Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training pursuant to\n\nthe Oklahoma Security Guard and Private Investigator Act.\n\nB. On or after November 1, 2022, a person employed or operating\n\nas an unarmed security guard who has submitted a complete license\n\napplication to the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training\n\nand who is employed by a licensed security agency shall have forty-\n\nfive (45) days from the date of employment to secure a license\n\nissued by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Security Guard and Private Investigator\n\nAct.
