No person who is exempt from the provisions of the Oklahoma\n\nSecurity Guard and Private Investigator Act shall display any badge\n\nor identification card bearing the words \"private investigator\" or\n\n\"private detective\", or use any words or phrases that imply that\n\nsuch person is a private investigator or private detective.\n\nB. No person licensed as a private investigator shall:\n\n1. Divulge any information gained by the private investigator\n\nin his or her employment except as the employer of the private\n\ninvestigator may direct or as the private investigator may be\n\nrequired by law to divulge; or\n\n2. Willfully make a false report to the employer of the private\n\ninvestigator or to a client.\n\nAny violation of this subsection, upon conviction, shall be\n\npunishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)\n\nor by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, or by both such\n\nfine and imprisonment.\n\nC. The Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training or its\n\nemployees shall not disclose application information pertaining to\n\npersons licensed pursuant to this act, except:\n\n1. To verify the current license status of any applicant or\n\nlicensee to the public;\n\n2. To perform duties pursuant to the Oklahoma Security Guard\n\nand Private Investigator Act;\n\n3. To a bona fide law enforcement agency;\n\n4. To a licensing authority in another jurisdiction;\n\n5. As required by court order;\n\n6. To provide final orders where an applicant or licensee was\n\nthe respondent in or was the subject of an administrative proceeding\n\ninitiated by the Council; or\n\n7.
