Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1800.18","heading":"Residential alarm industry monitoring or services –","body":"Contract requirements.\n\nA. On and after November 1, 2018, no contract for residential\n\nalarm industry monitoring or services shall provide that after the\n\ninitial term of the contract the services will automatically\n\ncontinue for any fixed term, except a month-to-month term.\n\nB. On and after November 1, 2018, every contract for\n\nresidential alarm industry monitoring or services shall\n\nconspicuously state that the person receiving the services has the\n\nright, without additional cost or penalty, to terminate such\n\ncontract at the end of the initial term, at any time, by giving a\n\nthirty-day notice to the provider of the intent to terminate the\n\nservices.\n\nC.
