Upon receiving proper application, payment of the proper\n\nlicense fee, and certification of recommendation by the Alarm,\n\nLocksmith and Fire Sprinkler Industry Committee, the Commissioner of\n\nLabor shall issue a license to the applicant. The license shall be\n\nvalid for a one-year term.\n\nB. Renewal of a license shall not prohibit disciplinary\n\nproceedings for an act committed prior to the renewal.\n\nC. The Commissioner may adopt a system under which licenses\n\nexpire on various dates throughout the year.
