Upon making proper application, payment of the proper\n\nlicense fee and certification of approval by the Fire Extinguisher\n\nIndustry Committee, the State Fire Marshal shall issue a license to\n\nthe applicant. The license shall be valid for a one-year term.\n\nB. Renewal of a license shall not prohibit disciplinary\n\nproceedings for an act committed prior to the renewal.\n\nC. The State Fire Marshal Commission may adopt a system under\n\nwhich licenses expire on various dates throughout the year.
