Stat. tit. 59, § 59-1925.12","heading":"Alimony or divorce actions - Custody actions -","body":"Testimony by therapist.\n\nIf both parties to a marriage have obtained marital and family\n\ntherapy by a licensed marital and family therapist, the therapist\n\nshall not be competent to testify in an alimony or divorce action\n\nconcerning information acquired in the course of the therapeutic\n\nrelationship unless a party relies on such information as an element\n\nof his claim or defense in such an action, or said information is\n\ngathered as a result of a court-ordered examination.
