The State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure shall:\n\n1. Prescribe, adopt and promulgate rules to implement and\n\nenforce the provisions of the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure\n\nAct;\n\n2. Set license and examination fees as required by the Marital\n\nand Family Therapist Licensure Act, including the adoption of the\n\nState Department of Health rules by reference; and\n\n3. Adopt and establish rules of professional conduct.\n\nB. The Board shall have the authority to:\n\n1. Seek injunctive relief;\n\n2. Receive fees and deposit said fees into the Licensed Marital\n\nand Family Therapist Revolving Fund as required by the Marital and\n\nFamily Therapist Licensure Act;\n\n3. Issue, renew, revoke, deny, suspend and place on probation\n\nlicenses to practice marital and family therapy pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure Act;\n\n4. Examine all qualified applicants for licenses to practice\n\nmarital and family therapy;\n\n5. Accept grants and gifts from various foundations and\n\ninstitutions;\n\n6. Make such expenditures and employ such personnel as the\n\nCommissioner may deem necessary for the administration of the\n\nMarital and Family Therapist Licensure Act;\n\n7. Request the district attorney to bring an action to enforce\n\nthe provisions of the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure Act;\n\nand\n\n8.
