No person shall engage in business as a rental-purchase\n\nlessor without first obtaining a license issued by the\n\nAdministrator. Each license shall state the address of the office\n\nfrom which business is to be conducted and the name of the licensee.\n\nThe license shall be displayed at the place of business named in the\n\nlicense. The license shall not be transferable or assignable except\n\nupon approval by the Administrator. A separate license shall be\n\nrequired for each office operated pursuant to the Oklahoma Rental-\n\nPurchase Act. The Administrator may issue more than one license to\n\nany one person upon compliance with this section as to each license.\n\nThis subsection shall not be construed to require a license for any\n\nplace of business devoted to accounting or other record keeping and\n\nwhere rental-purchase agreements are not made.\n\nB. Each person shall file a license application form with the\n\nAdministrator within thirty (30) days prior to commencing business\n\nin this state for each place of business in which rental-purchase\n\nagreements are transacted, and thereafter, by December 1st of each\n\nyear. The license application must state:\n\n1. The name of the person;\n\n2. The name in which business is transacted if different from\n\nparagraph 1 or 3 of this subsection;\n\n3. The address of the principal office;\n\n4. An indication that the lessor engages in the business of\n\nmaking rental-purchase agreements;\n\n5. The address of the designated agent upon whom service of\n\nprocess may be made in this state; and\n\n6. Such other relevant information as the Administrator may\n\ndesire.\n\nC. If information in an application becomes inaccurate after\n\nfiling, modifications to the application shall be brought to the\n\nattention of the Department of Consumer Credit within thirty (30)\n\ndays from such change.\n\nD.
