There is hereby created in the State Treasury for the State\n\nBoard of Cosmetology and Barbering a revolving fund to be designated\n\nthe State Cosmetology and Barbering Fund. The fund shall be a\n\ncontinuing fund not subject to fiscal year limitations and shall\n\nconsist of all fees and penalties collected pursuant to the Oklahoma\n\nCosmetology and Barbering Act or rules promulgated thereto and any\n\nother funds obtained or received by the State Board of Cosmetology\n\nand Barbering pursuant to the Oklahoma Cosmetology and Barbering\n\nAct. All monies accruing to the credit of said fund are hereby\n\nappropriated and may be budgeted and shall be expended by the Board\n\nfor the purposes of implementing, administering and enforcing the\n\nOklahoma Cosmetology and Barbering Act. Expenditures from the fund\n\nshall be made upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer against\n\nclaims filed as prescribed by law with the Director of the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services for approval and payment.\n\nB. At the close of each fiscal year the Board shall pay into\n\nthe General Revenue Fund of the state ten percent (10%) of the gross\n\nfees and penalties so charged, collected and received by the Board.\n\nOther than the ten percent (10%) all fees and penalties charged and\n\nmonies collected and received, are hereby dedicated, appropriated\n\nand pledged to the accomplishment and fulfillment of the purposes of\n\nthe Oklahoma Cosmetology and Barbering Act.\n\nC. All expenses, per diem, salaries, wages, travel, rents,\n\nprinting, supplies, maintenance, and other costs incurred by the\n\nBoard in the performance of its duty and in accomplishment and\n\nfulfillment of the purposes of the Oklahoma Cosmetology and\n\nBarbering Act shall be a proper charge against and paid from the\n\nState Cosmetology and Barbering Fund. In no event shall any claim\n\nor obligation accrue against the State of Oklahoma nor against the\n\nCosmetology and Barbering Fund in excess of the ninety percent (90%)\n\nor the amount of fees and penalties collected and paid into the\n\nState Treasury pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma\n\nCosmetology and Barbering Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"83b171ded6272f06cbb3ab519098b677104eb7f05405a9388d9fb1e4cc01edf4","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-199.14","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-199.18"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
