Stat. tit. 59, § 59-199.4","heading":"Executive director","body":"The State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering shall employ an\n\nexecutive director who shall be in charge of the office of the\n\nBoard. The executive director shall have such qualifications as\n\nshall be established by rules of the Board; provided, the executive\n\ndirector shall not be actively engaged in the practice of\n\ncosmetology or barbering while serving as executive director. The\n\nexecutive director shall:\n\n1. Devote his or her entire time to the duties of the office;\n\n2. Receive salary and benefits as provided by law;\n\n3. Keep and preserve all books and records pertaining to the\n\nBoard;\n\n4. Have authority, in the name of and in behalf of the Board,\n\nto issue all licenses, certificates of registration, permits,\n\norders, and notices;\n\n5. Have authority to collect all fees and penalties provided\n\nfor by the Oklahoma Cosmetology and Barbering Act;\n\n6. Make quarterly reports to the Board of all monies collected\n\nand the sources from which derived;\n\n7. Have authority to approve payrolls and all claims for the\n\nBoard;\n\n8. Have authority to employ staff;\n\n9. Keep a continuous inventory of all properties, excluding\n\nsupplies, belonging to the Board; and\n\n10.
