Except as otherwise provided in the Oklahoma Licensed\n\nPerfusionists Act, no person shall practice perfusion in this state\n\nunless licensed pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Licensed\n\nPerfusionists Act.\n\nB. No person shall be licensed to practice perfusion in this\n\nstate except upon a finding by the State Board of Examiners of\n\nPerfusionists that such person:\n\n1. Has fully complied with all applicable licensure\n\nrequirements of the Oklahoma Licensed Perfusionists Act; and\n\n2. Has produced satisfactory evidence to the Board of the\n\nability of the applicant to practice perfusion with reasonable skill\n\nand safety.\n\nC. An applicant for a perfusionist license must submit a sworn\n\napplication accompanied by an application fee specified in Section\n\n2071 of this title in an amount set by rule of the Board.\n\nD. The Board shall prescribe the form of the application and by\n\nrule may establish dates by which applications and fees must be\n\nreceived. These rules must not be inconsistent with present rules\n\nof the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision related to\n\napplication dates of other licenses. The Board may review and\n\nverify medical credentials and screen applicant records through\n\nrecognized national information services.\n\nE. To qualify for the examination for licensure, the applicant\n\nmust have successfully completed a perfusion education program\n\napproved by the Board.\n\nF. In approving perfusion education programs necessary for\n\nqualification for examination, the Board shall approve only a\n\nprogram that has educational standards that are at least as\n\nstringent as those established by the Accreditation Committee for\n\nPerfusion Education and approved by the Committee on Allied Health\n\nEducation and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or\n\ntheir successors.\n\nG. Not later than the forty-fifth day after the date of receipt\n\nof a properly submitted and timely application and not later than\n\nthe thirtieth day before the next examination date, the Board shall\n\nnotify an applicant in writing that the applicant's application and\n\nany other relevant evidence pertaining to applicant qualifications\n\nestablished by the Board by rule have been received and\n\ninvestigated. The notice shall state whether the application and\n\nother evidence submitted have qualified the applicant for\n\nexamination.
