Stat. tit. 59, § 59-2095.13","heading":"Participation in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing","body":"System and Registry.\n\nIn addition to any other duties imposed upon the Administrator\n\nof Consumer Credit by law, the Administrator shall require mortgage\n\nbrokers, mortgage lenders and mortgage loan originators to be\n\nlicensed and registered through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing\n\nSystem and Registry. In order to carry out this requirement, the\n\nAdministrator is authorized to participate in the Nationwide\n\nMultistate Licensing System and Registry. For this purpose, the\n\nAdministrator, upon approval of the Commission on Consumer Credit,\n\nmay establish requirements by rule as necessary and consistent with\n\nthe Oklahoma Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act,\n\nincluding but not limited to:\n\n1. Background checks for:\n\na. criminal history through fingerprint or other\n\ndatabases,\n\nb. civil or administrative records,\n\nc. credit history, or\n\nd. any other information as deemed necessary by the\n\nNationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry;\n\n2. The payment of fees to apply for or renew licenses through\n\nthe Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry;\n\n3. The setting or resetting as necessary of renewal or\n\nreporting dates; and\n\n4.
