In order to meet the prelicensing education requirement\n\nreferred to in Section 2095.7 of this title, an individual shall\n\ncomplete at least twenty (20) hours of education approved in\n\naccordance with subsection B of this section, which shall include at\n\nleast:\n\n1. Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations;\n\n2. Three (3) hours of ethics, which shall include instruction\n\non fraud, consumer protection and fair lending issues;\n\n3. Two (2) hours of training related to lending standards for\n\nthe nontraditional mortgage product marketplace; and\n\n4. One (1) hour of Oklahoma law and regulations.\n\nB. For purposes of subsection A of this section, prelicensing\n\neducation courses shall be reviewed and approved by the Nationwide\n\nMultistate Licensing System and Registry based upon reasonable\n\nstandards. Review and approval of a prelicensing education course\n\nshall include review and approval of the course provider.\n\nC. Nothing in this section shall preclude any prelicensing\n\neducation course as approved by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing\n\nSystem and Registry that is provided by the employer of the\n\napplicant or an entity which is affiliated with the applicant by an\n\nagency contract or any subsidiary or affiliate of such employer or\n\nentity.\n\nD. Prelicensing education may be offered either in a classroom,\n\nonline or by any other means approved by the Nationwide Multistate\n\nLicensing System and Registry.\n\nE. The prelicensing education requirements approved by the\n\nNationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry in paragraph 1\n\nof subsection A and subsections B and C of this section for any\n\nstate shall be accepted as credit towards completion of prelicensing\n\neducation requirements in this state.\n\nF.
