A license issued pursuant to this act is not transferable or\n\nassignable.\n\nB. 1. The prior written approval of the Administrator of the\n\nDepartment of Consumer Credit is required for the continued\n\noperation of a small loan business whenever a change in control of a\n\nlicensee is proposed. The Administrator may require information\n\ndeemed necessary to determine whether a new application is required.\n\nReasonable and actual costs incurred by the Administrator in\n\ninvestigating a change-of-control request shall be paid by the\n\nperson requesting approval. If the person acquiring control of a\n\nlicensee is already licensed under this act, the person shall notify\n\nthe Administrator thirty (30) days prior to the acquisition.\n\n2. Whenever control is acquired or exercised in violation of\n\nthis section, the license shall be deemed revoked as of the date of\n\nthe unlawful acquisition of control. The licensee or its\n\ncontrolling person shall surrender the license to the Administrator\n\non demand.\n\nC.
