Stat. tit. 59, § 59-3202","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Anesthesiologist Assistant Act:\n\n1. \"Board\" means the State Board of Medical Licensure and\n\nSupervision;\n\n2. \"Anesthesiologist assistant\" means a graduate of an approved\n\nprogram who is licensed to perform medical services delegated and\n\ndirectly supervised by a supervising anesthesiologist;\n\n3. \"Approved program\" means a program for the education and\n\ntraining of anesthesiologist assistants approved by the State Board\n\nof Medical Licensure and Supervision;\n\n4. “Direct supervision\" means the on-site, personal supervision\n\nby an anesthesiologist who is present in the office when the\n\nprocedure is being performed in that office, or is present in the\n\nsurgical or obstetrical suite when the procedure is being performed\n\nin that surgical or obstetrical suite and who is in all instances\n\nimmediately available to provide assistance and direction to the\n\nanesthesiologist assistant while anesthesia services are being\n\nperformed; and\n\n5. “NCCAA” means the National Commission for Certification of\n\nAnesthesiologist Assistants.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4872715f4deec453c8ee31a4946d28849eef83a5f7ae1cdffd5ea97db898fbe3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-3201","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-3203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
