Any\n\napplicant for licensure shall submit proof of compliance or\n\nexemption to the Board office prior to licensure. All licensees\n\nshall submit such proof as a condition of biennial renewal or\n\nreactivation. Acceptable proof of financial responsibility shall\n\ninclude:\n\n1. Professional liability coverage of at least One Hundred\n\nThousand Dollars ($100,000.00) per claim with a minimum annual\n\naggregate of at least Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00)\n\nfrom an authorized insurer, a surplus lines insurer, a joint\n\nunderwriting association, a self-insurance plan, or a risk retention\n\ngroup; or\n\n2. An unexpired irrevocable letter of credit, which is in the\n\namount of at least One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) per\n\nclaim with a minimum aggregate availability of at least Three\n\nHundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) and which is payable to the\n\nanesthesiologist assistant as beneficiary.
