No annual renewal certificate shall be issued to a\n\npharmacist until such pharmacist has submitted proof to the State\n\nBoard of Pharmacy that the pharmacist has satisfactorily completed\n\nno less than fifteen (15) clock hours of an accredited or Board-\n\napproved program of continuing professional education during the\n\nprevious calendar year.\n\nB. The Board may grant alternate methods of obtaining\n\ncontinuing education hours to a pharmacist who meets all necessary\n\nrequirements for licensure except the continuing education\n\nrequirements.\n\nC. 1. Any pharmacist who does not meet the requirements for\n\ncontinuing education may obtain an inactive renewal certificate of\n\nlicensure.\n\n2. The holder of an inactive renewal certificate of licensure\n\nshall not engage in the practice of pharmacy in this state.\n\n3.
