Supportive personnel may perform certain tasks in the\n\npractice of pharmacy if such personnel perform the tasks in\n\ncompliance with rules promulgated by the State Board of Pharmacy.\n\nB. 1. No person shall serve as a pharmacy technician without\n\nfirst procuring a permit from the Board.\n\n2. An application for an initial or renewal pharmacy technician\n\npermit issued pursuant to the provisions of this subsection shall be\n\nsubmitted to the Board and provide any other information deemed\n\nrelevant by the Board.\n\n3. An application for an initial or renewal permit shall be\n\naccompanied by a permit fee not to exceed Seventy-five Dollars\n\n($75.00) for each period of one (1) year. A permit issued pursuant\n\nto this subsection shall be valid for a period to be determined by\n\nthe Board.\n\n4. Every permitted pharmacy technician who fails to complete a\n\nrenewal form and remit the required renewal fee to the Board by the\n\nfifteenth day after the expiration of the permit shall pay a late\n\nfee to be fixed by the Board.\n\n5. A pharmacy technician permit shall be canceled thirty (30)\n\ndays after expiration.\n\n6. A person may obtain reinstatement of a canceled pharmacy\n\ntechnician permit by making application, paying a reinstatement fee,\n\nand satisfactorily completing other requirements set by the Board.\n\nC.
