Stat. tit. 59, § 59-353.5","heading":"State Board of Pharmacy – Elections and terms -","body":"Executive Director.\n\nA. The State Board of Pharmacy shall annually elect a president\n\nand vice-president of the Board. The president and vice-president\n\nshall serve for a term of one (1) year and shall perform the duties\n\nprescribed by the Board.\n\nB. Each member of the Board shall receive necessary travel\n\nexpenses incurred in the discharge of official duties pursuant to\n\nthe State Travel Reimbursement Act.\n\nC. The Board shall employ an Executive Director who is a\n\nlicensed pharmacist in this state. The Executive Director shall\n\nserve as the Chief Administrative Officer for the agency, the Chief\n\nExecutive Officer of the Board, and may serve as the Chief Inspector\n\nif certified as a peace officer. The Executive Director shall\n\nperform such duties as required by the Board. The Executive\n\nDirector of the Board shall receive an annual salary to be fixed by\n\nthe Board.\n\nD. The Executive Director shall:\n\n1. Deposit funds with the State Treasurer to be expended in the\n\nmanner and for the purposes provided by law; and\n\n2.
