Stat. tit. 59, § 59-396.1B","heading":"Expenses of Board members - Executive director - Other","body":"personnel.\n\nAll of the members of the Oklahoma Funeral Board shall be\n\nreimbursed for travel expenses incident to attendance upon the\n\nbusiness of the Board as provided in the State Travel Reimbursement\n\nAct. The Board is hereby authorized to employ an executive director\n\nat an annual salary to be set by the Board, payable monthly, and to\n\nrent and equip an office therefor in some city in the state to be\n\nselected by the Board. The Board shall not employ any of its\n\nmembers for a period of three (3) years following their expiration\n\nof term of office. The executive director shall keep such books,\n\nrecords, and perform such other lawful duties as are required by or\n\nplaced upon the executive director by the Board, and shall be\n\nentitled to receive traveling expenses while in the performance of\n\nthe duties as directed and prescribed by the Board. The executive\n\ndirector shall not accept any employment from any funeral home or\n\nwholesale house dealing in funeral supplies or equipment while\n\nacting as the executive director. The Board shall have the right\n\nand authority to employ necessary personnel to carry out the\n\nprovisions of the Funeral Services Licensing Act.
