Stat. tit. 59, § 59-4100.1","heading":"Legislative findings","body":"The Legislature finds that military service members after\n\nseparating from military service are frequently delayed in getting\n\npost-military employment even though the service member may have\n\napplicable military education, training, and experience which could\n\nqualify for an occupational license or certification, or which could\n\nprovide academic credit toward college, university or technical\n\ndegree requirements. The Legislature finds it is advantageous to\n\nthe state to create occupational and educational opportunities for\n\npost-military service members who are honorably discharged and\n\nspouses of active-duty service members who must leave work in\n\nanother state to accompany their service member on transfer and\n\nassignment for military duty in this state. The Legislature\n\nadditionally finds that the spouse of an active-duty service member\n\nassigned for duty in this state who possesses a valid professional\n\nlicense or certification with current experience in another state\n\nshould be allowed to apply for the same professional license or\n\ncertification in this state and such application should be expedited\n\nfor better employment opportunities and based upon the person having\n\nsubstantially equivalent education, training and experience for\n\nlicensure in this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0719672f266604456b65a1ceb4a3d5fb56c7514a55af09b809071c0a0074e284","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-4100","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-4100.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
