Every active duty military personnel and their spouse who is\n\nlicensed or certified in any occupation or profession in another\n\nstate, upon receiving notice or orders for military transfer or\n\nhonorable discharge to this state, may in advance of actual transfer\n\nor discharge submit a completed application to the appropriate\n\nlicensing or credentialing agency in this state to request an\n\nexpedited temporary, reciprocal or comity license or certification\n\nfor their currently held valid license or certification from another\n\nstate or territory of the United States so such person may upon\n\nentering this state be authorized to continue their licensed or\n\ncertified occupation or profession without delay.\n\nB. Every administrative body, state agency director or official\n\nwith authority over any occupational or professional license or\n\ncertification, and each of the respective examining and licensing\n\nboards, agencies and commissions in this state, shall, upon receipt\n\nof an active duty military application submitted as authorized in\n\nsubsection A of this section, and presentation of satisfactory\n\nevidence of equivalent education, training and experience on such\n\nvalid license or certification from another state, accept the valid\n\nlicense or certification and apply all its education, training and\n\nexperience in the manner most favorable toward satisfying the\n\nqualifications for issuance of the requested license or\n\ncertification in this state, and shall issue the requested Oklahoma\n\nlicense or certification within thirty (30) days provided the\n\nlicense or certification from the other state is found to be in good\n\nstanding and reasonably equivalent to the requirements of this\n\nstate.\n\nC. The temporary, reciprocal or comity license or certification\n\nissued pursuant to this section shall be valid for the same period\n\nas authorized for full license or certification in this state,\n\nunless the person is notified by the credentialing authority that\n\nthere is cause for a denial of the application or that certain\n\ndocumentation required by this state is lacking or unavailable. In\n\nsuch case, a temporary credential shall be issued to allow the\n\nperson time to obtain the necessary requirement while continuing to\n\nbe employed in his or her occupation or profession in this state.\n\nAny active duty military applicant receiving a notice of denial of\n\nfull licensure or certification shall have the right to appeal the\n\ndenial determination as provided in the Administrative Procedures\n\nAct or to obtain and submit the documentation required to complete\n\nfull license or certificate requirements in this state.\n\nD. Each credentialing authority in this state shall waive the\n\napplication fee for active duty military personnel and their spouse\n\nand shall further waived the license or certificate fees for the\n\nfirst period of issuance for such temporary, reciprocal or comity\n\nlicense or certificate.\n\nE. Any active duty military personnel who pursuant to any\n\nfederal or military law, rule or regulation is not required to be\n\nlicensed or credentialed while employed and performing their\n\noccupation or profession only on the premises of an assigned\n\nmilitary base shall not be required to be licensed or credentialed\n\nin this state pursuant to the same law, rule or regulation.\n\nF.
