The State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering may take\n\ndisciplinary action against a person licensed pursuant to the\n\nMassage Therapy Practice Act as follows:\n\n1. Deny or refuse to renew a license;\n\n2. Suspend or revoke a license;\n\n3. Issue an administrative reprimand; or\n\n4. Impose probationary conditions when the licensee or\n\napplicant has engaged in unprofessional conduct that has endangered\n\nor is likely to endanger the health, welfare or safety of the\n\npublic.\n\nB. The Board shall take disciplinary action upon a finding that\n\nthe licensee or person has committed an act of unprofessional\n\nconduct or committed a violation of rule or law.\n\nC. Disciplinary proceedings may be instituted by sworn\n\ncomplaint of any person, including members of the Board, and shall\n\nconform to the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act.\n\nD. The Board shall establish the guidelines for the disposition\n\nof disciplinary cases. Guidelines may include, but shall not be\n\nlimited to, periods of probation, conditions of probation,\n\nsuspension, revocation or reissuance of a license.\n\nE. A license holder who has been found culpable and sanctioned\n\nby the Board shall be responsible for the payment of all costs of\n\nthe disciplinary proceedings and any administrative fees imposed.\n\nF.
