Stat. tit. 59, § 59-46.10v2","heading":"Dues - Cancellation of license or registration for","body":"nonpayment.\n\nEvery licensed architect, landscape architect and licensed\n\ninterior designer shall pay to the Board a fee as prescribed by the\n\nrules of the Board. Upon receipt of the fee the Board shall issue a\n\nrenewal of the license, which shall authorize the person to practice\n\narchitecture, landscape architecture or licensed interior design, as\n\nthe case may be, in this state. The license of an architect,\n\nlandscape architect, or licensed interior designer which has been\n\ncanceled by the Board for nonpayment of dues may be renewed at any\n\ntime within three (3) years from the date of the cancellation, upon\n\npayment to the Board of the fees which had accrued at the time of\n\nthe cancellation and which would have been paid at the time of\n\nreinstatement had not the license been suspended, together with\n\npayment of the amount of penalties which may have been prescribed by\n\nthe Board. If a license remains canceled for a period exceeding\n\nthree (3) consecutive years, it shall not be reinstated unless the\n\nlicensee has taken or submitted to a test or a quiz or a Board\n\nreview or an examination as the circumstances of the individual case\n\nmay warrant and as may be prescribed by the Board in order to\n\ndetermine continued competency of the licensee.
