Stat. tit. 59, § 59-46.2","heading":"Purpose of act","body":"In order to safeguard life, health and property and to promote\n\npublic welfare, the professions of architecture, landscape\n\narchitecture and licensed interior design are declared to be subject\n\nto regulation in the public interest. It is unlawful for any person\n\nto practice or offer to practice architecture, landscape\n\narchitecture, or licensed interior design in this state, as defined\n\nin the provisions of the State Architectural and Licensed Interior\n\nDesigners Act, use in connection with the person's name, or\n\notherwise assume the title of architect, landscape architect or\n\nlicensed interior designer, or advertise any title or description\n\ntending to convey the impression that the person is an architect or\n\nlandscape architect or licensed interior designer unless the person\n\nis duly licensed or exempt from licensure under the State\n\nArchitectural and Licensed Interior Designers Act.
