Stat. tit. 59, § 59-46.21v2","heading":"Persons, firms, corporations, limited liability","body":"companies or limited liability partnerships excepted from act.\n\nA. The State Architectural and Licensed Interior Designers Act\n\nshall not apply to any persons, firms, corporations, limited\n\nliability companies or limited liability partnerships that do not\n\nhold a license or certification in any jurisdiction for exempted\n\nCode Use Groups defined by the State Architectural and Licensed\n\nInterior Designers Act, providing such persons and/or entities shall\n\nnot represent such person or entity to be an architect, licensed\n\ninterior designer, or other title of profession or business using a\n\nform of the words, \"Architect\" or \"Licensed Interior Designer\".\n\nThis act shall not prevent such persons and/or entities from\n\nadvertising or selling their services.\n\nAny architect, landscape architect or licensed interior designer\n\nfrom any jurisdiction who contracts, provides or holds out to the\n\npublic that he or she is able to provide professional services in\n\nOklahoma is required to hold a license or certificate of authority\n\nas needed from the Board, even on exempt Code Use Groups, and an\n\narchitect, landscape architect, or licensed interior designer is\n\nrequired to sign, seal and date all construction documents and\n\ntechnical submissions.\n\nB. Nothing in this act shall be construed to prevent the\n\npreparation of technical submissions or the administration of\n\nconstruction contracts by employees of a person or entity lawfully\n\nengaged in the practice of architecture when such employees are\n\nacting under the responsible control of an architect.\n\nC. The following shall govern design competitions in the state:\n\n1. Nothing in this act shall prohibit a person or firm from\n\nparticipating in an architectural design competition involving only\n\narchitectural programming, planning, schematic design or design\n\ndevelopment information provided to a sponsor; and\n\n2.
