Stat. tit. 59, § 59-46.39","heading":"Alternative requirements for licensed interior designer","body":"registration.\n\nAny person who applies to become a licensed interior designer\n\nand remits the application and initial fees after July 1, 2007,\n\nshall be licensed by the Board of Governors of the Architects,\n\nLandscape Architects and Licensed Interior Designers of Oklahoma if\n\nan applicant demonstrates, in accordance with this act, or in\n\ncompliance with the Military Service Occupation, Education and\n\nCredentialing Act and requirements as the Board adopts by rule, that\n\nthe applicant has the interior design education and training that\n\nthe Board deems equivalent to an accredited professional degree in\n\ninterior design and the applicant has passed the examination of the\n\nCouncil for Interior Design Qualification or its successor, or an\n\nequivalent examination as determined by the Board.\n\nIn lieu of the requirement of any professional degree, an\n\napplicant may provide documented proof of diversified and\n\nappropriate experience in the practice of interior design for a\n\nperiod of six (6) years and the applicant has passed the examination\n\nof the Council for Interior Design Qualification or its successor,\n\nor an equivalent examination as determined by the Board.\n\nThe Board has the authority to issue temporary licenses while\n\nqualifying the applicant in compliance with the Military Service\n\nOccupation, Education and Credentialing Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"114925d1a14d24ad9114d51f8764ed68c2090e5a84a0d403efad7cef299b0fc0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-46.38v2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-46.3v1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
