Stat. tit. 59, § 59-46.9v2","heading":"Practice through partnership, firm, association,","body":"corporation, limited liability company or limited liability\n\npartnership - Certificates of authority or title - Foreign entities\n\n- Registration of trade name or service mark.\n\nA. The practice of architecture, landscape architecture, or\n\nlicensed interior design or offering to practice these professions\n\nfor others by persons licensed under this act through a partnership,\n\nfirm, association, corporation, limited liability company or limited\n\nliability partnership as directors, partners, officers,\n\nshareholders, employees, managers, members or principals is\n\npermitted, subject to the provisions of the State Architectural and\n\nLicensed Interior Designers Act, provided:\n\n1. One or more of the directors, partners, officers,\n\nshareholders, managers, members or principals of said partnership,\n\nfirm, association, corporation, limited liability company or limited\n\nliability partnership is designated as being responsible for the\n\nentity's activities and decisions of said partnership, firm,\n\nassociation, corporation, limited liability company or limited\n\nliability partnership;\n\n2. Such director, partner, officer, shareholder, manager,\n\nmember or principal is duly licensed under the State Architectural\n\nand Licensed Interior Designers Act;\n\n3. All personnel of said partnership, firm, association,\n\ncorporation, limited liability company or limited liability\n\npartnership who act on behalf of the entity for these professions in\n\nthe state are licensed under the State Architectural and Licensed\n\nInterior Designers Act; and\n\n4. Said partnership, firm, association, corporation, limited\n\nliability company or limited liability partnership has been issued a\n\ncertificate of authority by the Board.\n\nB. The Board shall have the power to issue, revoke, deny, or\n\nrefuse to renew a certificate of authority for a partnership, firm,\n\nassociation, corporation, limited liability company or limited\n\nliability partnership as provided for in the State Architectural and\n\nLicensed Interior Designers Act.\n\nC. A partnership, firm, association, corporation, limited\n\nliability company or limited liability partnership desiring to\n\npractice architecture, landscape architecture, or licensed interior\n\ndesign shall file with the Board an application for a certificate of\n\nauthority for each office location performing work on Oklahoma\n\nprojects on a form approved by the Board which shall include the\n\nnames, addresses, state of licensure and license number of all\n\npartners, directors, officers, members, managers or principals of\n\nthe partnership, firm, association, corporation, limited liability\n\ncompany or limited liability partnership legally responsible for the\n\nentity's practice. The form shall name an individual having the\n\npractice of architecture in such person's charge who is a director,\n\npartner, officer, member, manager or principal. The person shall be\n\nduly licensed as an architect to practice architecture or licensed\n\nas a landscape architect to practice landscape architecture, or as a\n\nlicensed interior designer to practice licensed interior design in\n\nthis state through said partnership, firm, association, corporation,\n\nlimited liability company or limited liability partnership legally\n\nresponsible for the entity's practice or services offered and other\n\ninformation required by the Board. In the event there shall be a\n\nchange in any of these persons during the term of the certification,\n\nsuch change shall be filed with the Board within thirty (30) days\n\nafter the effective date of said change. If all of the requirements\n\nof this section and the Board's current rules have been met, the\n\nBoard shall issue a certificate of authority to such partnership,\n\nfirm, association, corporation, limited liability company or limited\n\nliability partnership.\n\nD. Any other person licensed pursuant to the State\n\nArchitectural and Licensed Interior Designers Act, not practicing\nective date of said change. If all of the requirements\n\nof this section and the Board's current rules have been met, the\n\nBoard shall issue a certificate of authority to such partnership,\n\nfirm, association, corporation, limited liability company or limited\n\nliability partnership.\n\nD. Any other person licensed pursuant to the State\n\nArchitectural and Licensed Interior Designers Act, not practicing\n\nthese professions as a partnership, firm, association, corporation,\n\nlimited liability company or limited liability partnership, shall\n\npractice as an individual.\n\nE. No such partnership, firm, association, corporation, limited\n\nliability company or limited liability partnership shall be relieved\n\nof responsibility for the conduct or acts of its agents, employees,\n\npartners, directors, officers, managers, members or principals by\n\nreason of its compliance with the provisions of this section, or\n\nshall any individual practicing these professions be relieved of\n\nresponsibility for professional services performed as an individual\n\nby reason of such person's employment or relationship with such\n\npartnership, firm, association, corporation, limited liability\n\ncompany or limited liability partnership.\n\nF. The Secretary of State shall not issue a certificate of\n\nincorporation or register a foreign corporation or any other entity\n\nwhich includes among the objectives for which it is established any\n\nof the words \"Architect\", \"Architectural\", \"Architecture\",\n\n\"Landscape Architect\", \"Landscape Architecture\", \"Licensed Interior\n\nDesigner\", or \"Licensed Interior Design\", or any modification or\n\nderivation of these words, unless the Board has issued for said\n\napplicant either a certificate of authority for an entity, or a\n\nletter indicating eligibility for an exemption pursuant to the State\n\nArchitectural and Licensed Interior Designers Act. The entity\n\napplying shall supply such certificate or letter from the Board with\n\nits application for incorporation or registration.\n\nG. The Secretary of State shall not register any trade name or\n\nservice mark which includes such words, as set forth in subsection F\n\nof this section, or modifications or derivatives thereof in its firm\n\nname or logotype except those entities or individuals holding\n\ncertificates of authority issued under the provisions of this\n\nsection or letters of eligibility issued by the Board.\n\nH.
