Stat. tit. 59, § 59-475.12c","heading":"Qualifications to use title Professional Structural","body":"Engineer.\n\nA. A \"Professional Structural Engineer\", \"P.E., S.E.\", or\n\n\"S.E.\" professional engineer licensed in Oklahoma shall submit the\n\nfollowing by application and prescribed fees, if applicable, for\n\nBoard consideration as minimum evidence that the applicant is\n\nqualified to use the title \"Professional Structural Engineer\",\n\n\"P.E., S.E.\", \"S.E.\", or any similar variation using the \"S.E.\"\n\ndesignation and perform structural engineering analysis and design\n\nservices for significant structures, as defined:\n\n1. Proof of acceptable structural engineering experience by way\n\nof a description of representative projects completed, or courses\n\ntaught, verified by licensed professional engineers who claim\n\ncompetence in structural engineering, and have personal knowledge of\n\nthe applicant's structural engineering experience. This requirement\n\nmay be satisfied by the licensee's original application if\n\nsufficient structural engineering-specific experience is included\n\nand verified by a qualified reference(s); and\n\n2. Proof of structural engineering education evidenced by\n\noriginal transcripts submitted directly to the Board office from the\n\nuniversity or college showing coursework or degrees obtained. This\n\nrequirement may be satisfied by the licensee's original application\n\nif all relevant transcripts are included; and\n\n3. Proof of successful completion of one of the following\n\nstructural engineering examination paths below:\n\na. the NCEES Structural I and Structural II exams taken\n\nprior to January 1, 2011,\n\nb. an equivalent sixteen-hour state-written examination\n\nprior to January 1, 2004,\n\nc. the NCEES Structural II exam plus an equivalent eight-\n\nhour state-written structural examination prior to\n\nJanuary 1, 2011, or\n\nd. the NCEES S.E. examination taken after January 1,\n\n2011.\n\nB. Comity applicants for a professional engineer license who\n\nwish to also apply for authorization to use the title \"Professional\n\nStructural Engineer\", \"P.E., S.E.\", \"S.E.\", or any variation using\n\nthe \"S.E.\" designation and perform structural engineering analysis\n\nand design services for significant structures, shall submit the\n\nfollowing by application and prescribed fees for Board consideration\n\nas minimum evidence that the applicant is qualified:\n\n1. Proof of acceptable structural engineering experience by way\n\nof a description of representative projects completed, or courses\n\ntaught, and verified by licensed professional engineers who claim\n\ncompetence in structural engineering, and have personal knowledge of\n\nthe applicant's structural engineering experience;\n\n2. Proof of structural engineering education, and original\n\ntranscripts submitted directly to the Board office from the\n\nuniversity or college showing coursework or degrees obtained since\n\nthe individual's original professional engineer application to the\n\nBoard, if applicable; and\n\n3. Proof of successful completion of one of the following\n\nstructural engineering examination paths below:\n\na. the NCEES Structural I and Structural II exams taken\n\nprior to January 1, 2011,\n\nb. an equivalent sixteen-hour state-written examination\n\nprior to 2004,\n\nc. the NCEES Structural II exam plus an equivalent eight-\n\nhour state-written structural examination prior to\n\nJanuary 1, 2011, or\n\nd. the NCEES S.E. examination taken after January 1,\n\n2011.\n\nC. Proof of acceptable structural engineering experience by way\n\nof a description of representative projects completed, or courses\n\ntaught, and verified by licensed professional engineers having\n\npersonal knowledge of the applicant's structural engineering\n\nexperience; and\n\n2. Proof of structural engineering education evidenced by\n\noriginal transcripts submitted directly to the Board office from the\n\nuniversity or college showing coursework or degrees obtained.\n\nD. Professional engineers who have indicated in their official\n\nboard records that they have competence in structural engineering\n\nmay offer and perform structural engineering services and use the\n\nterm structural engineer or structural engineering to describe their\n\nqualifications or services. However, only licensed professional\n\nengineers who have been authorized by this Board to do so may use\n\n\"Professional Structural Engineer\", \"P.E., S.E.\", \"S.E.\", or any\n\n\"S.E.\" designation and to perform structural engineering analysis\n\nand design services for significant structures.\n\nE.
