Stat. tit. 59, § 59-481v2","heading":"State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision -","body":"Members.\n\nA State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision hereinafter\n\nreferred to as the \"Board\", is hereby re-created, to continue until\n\nJuly 1, 2030, in accordance with the provisions of the Oklahoma\n\nSunset Law. The Board shall be composed of seven (7) allopathic\n\nphysicians licensed to practice medicine in this state and represent\n\nthe public and four (4) lay members. The physician members of the\n\nBoard shall be graduates of legally chartered medical schools\n\nrecognized by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education or the\n\nLiaison Council on Medical Education. The physician members shall\n\nhave actively practiced as licensed physicians continuously in this\n\nstate for the three (3) years immediately preceding their\n\nappointment to the Board. All members of the Board shall be\n\nresidents of this state and shall be appointed by the Governor as\n\nprovided for in Section 482 of this title.
