The State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision is\n\nauthorized to obtain a national criminal history background check on\n\nphysician applicants seeking a letter of qualification for purposes\n\nof registration for expedited licensure through the Interstate\n\nMedical Licensure Compact pursuant to Section 493.7 of Title 59 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. Oklahoma physician applicants seeking a letter of\n\nqualification under the Compact shall be fingerprinted for the\n\nnational criminal history background check. Applicant fingerprints\n\nshall be submitted to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and\n\nthe national criminal history background check shall be conducted in\n\naccordance with Section 150.9 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nThe Bureau shall return national criminal history results to the\n\nBoard.\n\nC. Results obtained from the national criminal history\n\nbackground check shall be used solely for the screening of physician\n\napplicants and shall be retained by the Board. The Board shall not\n\ndisseminate criminal history record information resulting from the\n\nbackground check.\n\nD.
