Stat. tit. 59, § 59-508.2","heading":"Reinstatement on application of person whose license is","body":"suspended or revoked.\n\nA. At any time after the expiration of twelve (12) months from\n\nthe date the license of any person to practice medicine or surgery\n\nhas been revoked with right to reapply, or at any time after the\n\nexpiration of six (6) months from the date the license of any person\n\nto practice medicine or surgery has been suspended by the State\n\nBoard of Medical Licensure and Supervision, such person whose\n\nlicense has been so revoked or suspended may file an application\n\nwith the secretary of the Board, together with an application fee\n\nset by the Board, to reinstate the license. A licensee who has had\n\na license revoked, suspended or who has surrendered a license in\n\nlieu of prosecution shall not be reinstated and no probation shall\n\nbe lifted unless the licensee has paid all fines and reimbursements\n\nin a manner satisfactory to the Board.\n\nB. The application shall be assigned for hearing at the next\n\nregular meeting of the Board following the filing thereof. In\n\naddition, the Board may authorize the secretary to hold a hearing\n\non the application at any time. In such cases, the Board shall have\n\nthe authority and right to reconsider the order and decision of\n\nrevocation or suspension.\n\nC. For such causes and reasons deemed by it sufficient and for\n\nthe best interest of the medical profession and the citizens of this\n\nstate, the Board may reinstate a license of an applicant and issue\n\nthe order therefor.\n\nD.
