Stat. tit. 59, § 59-521","heading":"Exceptions","body":"No health care services may be performed under this act in any\n\nof the following areas:\n\n(a) The measurement of the powers or range of human vision, or\n\nthe determination of the accommodation and refractive states of the\n\nhuman eye or the scope of its functions in general, or the fitting\n\nor adaptation of lenses or frames for the aid thereof.\n\n(b) The prescribing or directing the use of, or using, any\n\noptical device in connection with ocular exercises, visual training,\n\nvision training or orthoptics.\n\n(c) The prescribing of contact lenses for, or the fitting or\n\nadaptation of contact lenses to, the human eye.\n\nNothing in this section shall preclude the performance of\n\nroutine visual screening.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f456e50a358b407397d5ee6045ae3242fc5789b8cd23983fa035c0619e951acf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-519.9","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-521.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
