Stat. tit. 59, § 59-529","heading":"Athletic Trainers Advisory Committee","body":"There is hereby created the Athletic Trainers Advisory\n\nCommittee, to be composed of five (5) members to be appointed by the\n\nState Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. To qualify as a\n\nmember, a person must be a citizen of the United States and a\n\nresident of Oklahoma for five (5) years immediately preceding\n\nappointment. Two members shall be licensed athletic trainers,\n\nexcept for the initial appointees, and two members shall be\n\nphysicians licensed by the state and one member shall be a member of\n\nthe Oklahoma Coaches Association who shall be selected by the Board\n\nof the Association. Except for the initial appointees, members shall\n\nhold office for terms of six (6) years. In the event of death,\n\nresignation or removal of any member, the vacancy of the unexpired\n\nterm shall be filled by the Board in the same manner as other\n\nappointments. The Athletic Trainers Advisory Committee shall assist\n\nthe Board in conducting examinations for applicants and shall advise\n\nthe Board on all matters pertaining to the licensure of athletic\n\ntrainers.
